No cookies, no third parties
No cookies are set and no comparable recognition techniques are used. Fonts, scripts, stylesheets and images are served exclusively from our own server — no connection is made to Google Fonts, to a CDN or to social networks. No audience measurement takes place.
Server log files
When you open a page, our web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the status code and, where transmitted, the browser identification and referrer. This data is required to operate and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest) and is deleted regularly. It is not combined with any other data.
Forms
When you submit the contact, service or business form, we process the details you enter in order to handle your enquiry — in the business form these are in particular company name, VAT number, contact person, contact details, delivery address and the quantities requested.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent). The details are sent to us by email and additionally recorded on our server so that no enquiry is lost. Alongside your details, that record contains a truncated portion of your IP address (the last component is dropped), so that abusive submissions can be traced. We retain it for as long as is necessary to handle your enquiry and to meet statutory retention obligations.
To guard against automated submissions we use a hidden field, a minimum completion time and a limit on enquiries per connection. For that limit, a truncated portion of your IP address is stored for at most one hour. No profile is created.
Meter data
The Smart Meter Adapter operates exclusively inside your local network and never opens a connection to the internet on its own. Your consumption data does not reach us — we have no access to it and do not store it.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Please contact sma@xdevelop.at.
If you believe the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
