One device, two interface variants and an optional reading head — together they cover every smart meter in the Austrian rollout.
Both variants look identical and differ only in the interface board. Which one you need depends entirely on your meter.
The MBUS variant serves the wired M-Bus interface and, through its built-in antenna, Wireless M-Bus as well. This is the variant for the large majority of Austrian meters.

The UART variant serves the meter’s serial customer interface — called DSMR, P1 or HAN depending on the manufacturer. Combined with the IR reading head it also reads meters that only output their data optically.

For meters with an optical interface. The head conforms to IEC 62056-21, attaches magnetically to the meter and connects to the UART variant with an RJ12 cable.

Factory firmware, ready to run
The factory firmware with setup wizard, dashboard and all interfaces. Only signed firmware images are accepted.
